Overview of the Systems Engineering Group (SEG)
Calspan's Systems Engineering Group
provides a wide array of services in custom
engineered solutions for in-house and customer-based
facilities--for aerospace, automotive,
and military applications.
SEG's projects include:
- Development of customized wind
tunnel hardware
- Research, development and delivery of
specialized automotive test hardware and
software
- Aircraft modifications in support of airborne
system development and integration.
- Research and development of heavy truck
safety systems, and intersection collision
avoidance systems.
By integrating the skills of many engineering
disciplines along with our staff of machinists
and technicians, SEG provides end-to-end customized
support to domestic and international customers
in the aerospace and automotive industries.
The Systems Engineering Group also provides
operational support to a set of unique specialized
test facilities including a fleet of experimental
aircraft, altitude chambers, ballistic ranges,
and Calspan's Unmanned Vehicle Proving
Ground (UVPG). |
